About Tupendan

Tupendan gathers live lots from Nordic auction houses into one place — right now 250,812 lots you can bid on, on top of 5,606,644 sold results going back to 2011. One search, one feed, every house.

Independent estimates

Every active lot gets its own estimate, computed from comparable sold results in our archive — not from the seller. We benchmark the engine against realized hammer prices, and when the data isn’t good enough for an honest number, we show none.

The price you’d actually pay

Auction prices rarely end at the hammer. Where a house publishes its buyer’s fees, we show the estimated total price — hammer plus fees — so lots are comparable across houses. Shipping is arranged with the house and comes on top.

Not a marketplace

We don’t sell anything and we take no part in transactions. Bidding always happens at the auction house, and every lot links to the house’s own page. Lot descriptions and photographs belong to the houses and their sellers, and are always shown with attribution.

Town and postal-code locations in the distance filter come from GeoNames, licensed under CC BY 4.0.

How we make money

Tupendan is free to use. We may receive a commission from an auction house when you click through to its site and buy a lot there. That never changes the price you pay, and it doesn’t affect our estimates — they’re calculated the same way for every house.

We also work with a few selected marketplaces through affiliate links, which we mark as ads. If you buy something after following one, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you.
