Made in English Walnut and Chestnut, the mirror supported on an adjustable ratchet mechanism and with a bevelled glass plate, with three drawers to the base and supported on narrow feet. With a label to the drawer 'No 409, Cabinet Maker T Lees, 4/12/26'. 72cms high, 54cms across *This appears on an invoice from 1930, No 409. See copy of the invoice on the images. *It is similar to a mirror held in the Gordon Russell Design Museum, 'The Northleach box mirror', which was made in 1926. *My thanks to the Gordon Russell Design Museum for their help on this lot.
