Bronze sculpture of a girl with a lamb. French School. 19th century.

Bronze sculpture of a girl with a lamb. French School. 19th century. Patinated bronze on a two-tone marble base. Dimensions: 33 x 20 x 20 cm. The sculpture depicts a girl in a contemplative pose, sitting next to a lamb she is gently holding. The naturalistic rendering of the face, the texture of her hair, and the soft folds of her dress reveal the refined craftsmanship typical of 19th-century French workshops. The dark patina and its contrast with the marble provide visual depth and compositiona
