Unknown artist, probably Spain, 17th-18th century. Saint Anthony of Padua, oil on canvas, unsigned. Not stretched on a frame. Framed behind glass. Dimensions: 51 x 40 cm (59 x 48 cm). Has heavy peeling and small holes. Anthony of Padua (1195-1231) was an Italian Franciscan monk born in Portugal and canonized in 1232. His iconographic representation is wearing the habit of the Franciscan order, carrying the baby Jesus and a lily.
