Finn Juhl (1912-1989). A pair of Brazilian rosewood lounge chairs, seats, backs and loose cushion with brown wool upholstery. Model FJ45. Designed in 1945. Presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild furniture exhibition that same year. Produced and labelled by Cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, Copenhagen, before 1960. Features usage-related patina, stains on the upholstery, one chair with defective webbing, the other with a minor dryness-related crack at the joint between the armrest and back most part of the frame.
