Poul Henningsen. 'Piano lamp' with curved frame, counterweight, socket, and switch housing in burnished brass, originally with in-line, on/off switch but this is missing. Screw-on counterweight missing, heavily patinated frame, newer cord, base has a plaque in silver on which is written: From the residents of Voldby 19-5-1938.

Poul Henningsen. 'Piano lamp' with curved frame, counterweight, socket, and switch housing in burnished brass, originally with in-line, on/off switch but this is missing. For mounting with 2/2 shade set, however only mounted with with defective top shade. The brand Patented PH-2/2. Variable height. Produced in 1931 by Louis Poulsen. The arm can be swung down, making it ideal for reading a piano score. Produced in a limited number of copies. In 1931, the lamp cost DKK 45.
