Finn Juhl (1912-1989). A pair of armchairs made in Rio rosewood, upholstered with woolen fabric, bored in light vegetable leather, loose cushions in the seat. Model NV-45. Designed 1945. Presented at the Snederlauget Furniture Exhibition the same year. Made and marked by Master Carpenter Niels Vodder. Provenance: Danish collector of Finn Juhl and close acquaintance of cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, where the chairs were directly acquired in 1965.
