Arne Jacobsen. A set of six chairs 'Seven', model 3207, Vacona cognac aniline leather.(6)

Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. set of six armchairs 'Syveren' with shells of bent plywood, frames of chromed tubular steel. Designed 1955. Manufactured by Fritz Hansen, model 3207. Newly upholstered with Vacona cognac aniline leather on shells and armrests. H. 76/46.5 cm. appears professionally reupholstered. Aniline leather is made from rawhides. The leather basically has a completely natural bare surface, where all natural marks are visible. This helps to emphasize the character of the leather. The leather is full-grain, which means that the natural surface structure is preserved. Aniline leather changes over time through use and exposure to light and quickly acquires a natural patina. (6)
