Wall relief designed by Danish artist and decorator Svend Nielsen. Executed at Michael Andersen & Son on Bornholm, Denmark in 1930/40s. Motif in Nordic Art Deco style depicting knealing young woman holding bowl with fire. Made of ceramic glazed in a multi-colored crackle glaze named "Persia" (unique for Michael Andersen & Son). Signed on the front with Svend Nielsen's initials. Back side marked with factory logo (triangular coat of arms with three herrings). Height: 24 cm. Width: 19 cm. Depth: 3.5 cm.
