A LATE VICTORIAN H.A.C. 14-DAY STRIKING MANTEL CLOCK.

A late Victorian walnut mantel clock by H.A.C. (Hamburg American Clock Company), the decorative gilt dial with Roman numerals and pierced hands, housed within an architectural case with turned and fluted columns, moulded plinth and carved architectural cresting with finial. Fitted with a 14-day mechanical striking movement, the original paper label to the inside of the rear door marked “H.A.C. 14 Day Strike – Made in Württemberg”, together with numbered label No. 3173. With pendulum and winding key.
