Early UK pressing of Led Zeppelin’s legendary second studio album, released on the sought after red/plum Atlantic label. This example carries early matrix numbers: Side A: 588198 A//5 Side B: 588198 B//4 Released in 1969, Led Zeppelin II is widely regarded as one of the defining hard rock albums of the era and includes classic tracks such as Whole Lotta Love, Ramble On, Heartbreaker, What Is and What Should Never Be and Bring It On Home. This copy features the desirable early UK plum Atlantic labels with “Livin’ Lovin’ Maid” credit to the label and catalogue number 588198. Early UK Zeppelin pressings remain highly collectible, particularly examples with low matrix variants and original plum labels. A strong collector’s copy of an iconic British rock album.
