Rarely offered antique mountain-shaped brush rest of blue-and-white porcelain in the Ming Emperor Xuande style (1425-1435) With semicircular base. Decorated on the front with waves, horses and clouds, on the inside a pair of children playing under a tree behind which the roof of a pagoda can be seen. H 12.5 cm. W 18 cm.
