Palmstruch (all, 2 plates with some spotting, otherwise only minor foxing, often lacking tissue-guards). All parts bound with all yellow original printed wrappers. Red half calf bindings from late 19th century (Hedberg), somewhat worn, one corner bumped, upper joint of vol. I partly split, richly gilt spines in compartments, text with minor foxing, some wrappers slightly soiled, wrapper to part 10 with some spotting. BOUND WITH: QUENSEL, CONRAD. Utkast till elefantens naturalhistoria. Stockholm (C. Delén) 1804. (3), 4-31, (1 blank) s. 2 engraved plates, of which 1 in colour. Provenance: Karl Joar Westman (1939-2022), Swedish lawyer and banker, also an entrepreneur in India and Sri Lanka. He was a devoted collector of antiques, paintings, sculpture, arts and crafts and not least of books. He was the son of the minister and professor K. G. Westman and his wife Margit, née Printz.
