Comprising: a Late Ming Dynasty blue and white ginger jar, painted in blue with a figure in a boat before buildings on islands, 12.5 cm high; two small circular dishes, one decorated in blue and the other in brown and green with flowers; a Chinese Export coffee-cup, clobbered, enamelled with figures amongst scrollwork; a Qing Dynasty teabowl painted with two figures before terracing and inscribed in black characters; six small Canton style wine cups; an oviform vase, probably Japanese, painted with blue flowers, blue character marks to base 10.5 cm high; a Japanese brown saltglaze stoneware ribbed oviform jar, impressed seal mark; a Meiji period miniature censer, blue ground, decorated with flowers; a modern Chinese red, black and gilt simulated lacquer cabinet plate, red seal mark; a Chinese brass-mounted bowl printed with Shou Lao and characters and a Chinese porcelain blue and white rice pattern bowl, two character mark (17).
Skick
Ginger jar - lacking cover, some misfiring and misshaping, sanding to glaze. Export coffee-cup - hairline crack to rim, crazing. Teabowl with 2 figures - hairline crack to rim. Applied red wax seal. Some wear overall.
