In well-used condition. Wig detached, clothing heavily worn, stained and frayed with losses. General dirt, marks and wear throughout. Shoes worn and distressed. Generic box size 36cm x 25cm x 12cm.

A late 19th century bisque-headed doll by Cuno & Otto Dressel , the head with painted features and inset glass eyes, impressed marks to the reverse of the neck including “1896” and further indistinct letters/numerals, with composition lower arms and stuffed cloth body, dressed in period clothing, together with a detached wig and a pair of black leather shoes.
