Engraved title-page with index in Latin and German, 36 double-page hand-coloured engraved maps which includes: double-page engraved "Schematismus Geographiae Mathematicae. 1755", double-hemisphere world map "Planiglobii Terrestris Mappa Universalis." 1746, Americas "Americae Mappa generalis." 1744; and 33 further maps, mostly of Europe (complete, all maps with spotting and soiling, some ink spots, some with repaired tears to margin, a few with some repairs with loss, world map and Europe with some repaired tears, many with repaired corners, a few with split centrefold and creases. A few with repaired margins or losses to lower part of map, all maps with numbers in pencil; title page mounted, repaired tears, staining. 19th-century half calf binding, worn and rubbed, some damages to spine. Signature of Otto Wilhelm Lönngren, dated 1846 on flyleaf. Signature on title page. At the beginngin a hand-coloured engraved title page of a de Wit atlas (cut and mounted, stained).
