Large box, top quite worn, various small chips to the lacquer and wood in places of both sections, lower section with large chips to the rim, decoration quite worn in places smaller box, lower section with repair and crack to the side of the rim, small chips in places and wear to the decoration.

A large red lacquered and wooden octagonal shaped lidded box, decorated with a variety of figures, animals and other decoration on each side and shou motifs to the base (approx 38cms high). Also with a smaller lidded box, 14cms high. (2).
