Arne Jacobsen. The Swan. Lounge chair original upholstered in patinated vegetable-tanned leather, swivel centre-column mounted on a four-star aluminium base. Produced at Fritz Hansen in 2007, labelled accordingly, model 3322. Designed in 1957-1958 as a part of the overall décor at hotel Royal i Copenhagen. Lit. C. Thau & K. Vindum: Arne Jacobsen. Discussed and reproduced p. 469. SH. 38 cm. Features patina / usage-related traces of wear and superficial craquelure on the leather.
