KRÜGER, PAUL (1825- 1904). Printed document signed, dated Pretoria March 22 1897, 1 page in folio with one loose leaf with a simple drawing of the property, 2 blank pages. Partly worn and browned, some folds, leaf with paper loss (without textloss) and marginal tears. C. 350x220 mm. The property is for a piece of land in Standerton, South Africa, for Jan Andreis Potgieter Krüger (1825- 1904), South African politician. He was one of the dominant political and military figures in 19th-century South Africa, and State President of the South African Republic (or Transvaal) from 1883 to 1900. (Wikipedia).
