Large bowl decorated with meander-inspired reliefs designed and executed by Christian Poulsen in his own studio in Ørholm, Denmark (1940s). Made of hand-turned stoneware glazed in gray, light and slightly yellowish shades. Inscribed initials (CHR-P) on the bottom. Diametro: 26 cm. Height: 10 cm. Note: Christian Poulsen ran his studio in Ørholm from 1933-38 and again from 1946. During the years in between, from 1941—46, he was employed at Bing & Grøndahl in Copenhagen.
