“Safari Chair”. A pair of ash wood armchairs. Seat, back and armrests with patinated full grain leather. Made by Rud. Rasmussen Cabinetmaker's. (2) In 1933 professor Kaare Klint designed “Safari-chair” with special attention to design a simple and portable easy chair. He was inspired by an English officer's chair which he had seen in a travel book from Africa. Constructing a chair which could easily be disassembled and assembled without using any tools Klint maintained the field equipment purpose of the chair.
