Later mirror plates and backings, escutcheon on bottom drawer missing, replacement drawer handles and eschutcheons, some lifting of veneer to sides, shrinkage split to fall front, replacement hinges and writing surface to fall front, shrinkage splits to sides (under veneer), back boards partially missing and loose, general surface wear i.e. marks, scuffs, minor losses. Key/keys included.

the moulded cornice over mirrored doors enclosing a shelved interior with a bank of twenty pigeon holes and small cupboard, the fall front opening to reveal further pigeon holes, serpentine drawers and central small cupboard, over two short and three long drawers, raised upon turned flattened bun feet, height 216cm, width 102, depth 57cm NB. All main drawers have their original keys. * Provenance: The Earl of Warwick, formerly purchased from Sotheby's (year unknown).
