Manessier er representert i et stort antall internasjonale museers samlinger, deriblant Nasjonalmuseets samling. Whilst he spent his career working in France, he had, through connections and a growing interest in French painting, developed a following in Norway, and was part of multiple exhibitions in the country. This included a major retrospective at Kunstnernes Hus in 1965. Manessier is represented in numerous international museum collections, including the National Museum of Norway.
