Unique lidded jar decorated with mythical creature, designed by Thorkild Olsen in 1948 and executed at Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. Made of hand-turned/modeled stoneware glazed in Sung glaze. Lid and container hand-signed with Thorkild Olsen's monogram and Royal Copenhagen's blue waves, hence the work's status as unique. Both lid and container dated "22-5-48". Height including mythical creature: 29 cm. Diameter: 15 cm.
