Possibly made up from some earlier 19th century elements, but this is composite. Both of the doors are loose and slide around in their niches, the top carved frieze panel is loose as are some of the carved foliate panels to the interior, some cracking to lacquer and to the side of the cabinet. Wear overall.

The panelled double doors carved and gilt with deer & birds amongst pine trees, incised with characters to the reverse and with seal marks, the interior lacquered with figures before a bridge, mountains and islands, on a stand, 43 cm high.
