Vilhelm Lauritzen (1894-1984). Sold set of eight 'Radiohus' chairs made of bent beech, seats upholstered in wool fabric. H. 82, seat height 45 cm. Made and marked by Fritz Hansen. Has natural patina and traces of use; later screws under the bottom. See also item number 6404823. Vilhelm Lauritzen designed the Radiohuset, which was built in the period 1936-1945, as well as the interior of the building. The model was part of the original interior and was, among other things, used in Radiohuset's canteen. The chair has never been in standard production.
