Late 19th-Early 20th Century Meissen porcelain figure group, after the original by J.J. Kändler, modelled with Bacchus in a leopard skin seated on a barrel of wine and lifting a goblet aloft, attended by a scantily clad maiden with a basket of grapes, and three revelling putti, one on a goat, on a rocaille moulded base, underglaze blue crossed swords and incised marks "2202" above "51" to base, H.26.5 x W.
